"I just saved a bunch of money on my car insurance by switching to the Carlos Salazar State Farm Agency with George. It may not be much to many, but saving $100 a month for me is huge! George took the time to make sure I had the coverage I needed for both my vehicle and my apartment, which ended up being greater than what I had before, and he made the experience so fun and easy, as well. I highly recommend George to help you with your insurance needs, but Carlos and Jacob are great too! This all dude crew has you covered."

"I couldn’t be happier with my experience! The rates offered for our vehicles, home and life insurance are absolutely perfect for what we needed. The standout feature, however, is the incredible staff. Jacob, in particular, is exceptionally patient and truly goes above and beyond to help his clients. "While looking for a new State Farm agent, I encountered Carlos Salazar. After having discussion with him and shared with him how I work as an individual of integrity I thought he would be a good agent to work with. Unfortunately, he cannot be trusted as he reached out to my previous agent without my consent and had an open dialogue in regards to my grievances about her. I shared with Carlos integrity is everything and unfortunately, I did not feel comfortable with Carlos because he did lack that. I attempted to try to call him and one of his staff members who is very polite would always indicate that he was always busy. He would never return my calls and when he would, it'd be a couple days later. I can't really say if he's a good agent or a bad agent, all I can share with you is that if you want to maintain any confidentiality pertaining to business or about another agent, you would think he would given you the professional courtesy and let you know he would be contacting the agent and sharing with her your discomfort of their business practice. if you're looking for an agent, just be mindful and ask a lot of questions. Then you can determine for yourself if that person has integrity and professionalism in their business. But you know Albuquerque, everyone knows each other and they covers each other's back so just be aware. If you have issues, contact State Farm directly like I did."

"Frank, I am sorry you feel the way you do about how I handled your concerns. Please understand that I am not your assigned servicing agent and you are not my customer. For this reason, I have no access to your accounts. Regardless, I took quite a bit of time to research and help you better understand the issues with your bill, coverages changes and forms that needed to be signed. For me to do this I had to call both your agent's office and State Farm service departments. I did communicate this to you during which time you expressed your appreciation and requested to transfer your accounts to my office. I clearly explained the process you would follow to transfer your accounts here. Out of respect and courtesy to your agent and her staff, I called her and communicated to her that you may be transferring your accounts to my agency and why. This is a common etiquette practice that many agents share with each other and I firmly believe in. You called and requested an in person meeting with me and unfortunately, I was unable to meet with you on the day you wanted to meet. I was not available because I was booked with customer appointments that day. My customers will always be my priority. However, I called you back the very next day with intention of setting an appointment with you so we could meet. You never answered and to my knowledge, you never called back. I hope this better helps you understand. Best wishes."

"The agent kept getting my husband’s drivers license and my drivers license mixed up over a two year period despite us coming to NM with two separate cars in our own names with our own policies and separate billing. Then “the State Farm system” never showed New Mexico that we had insurance so after getting the VIN check and all of that done at the MVD. The state suspended our cars (despite showing our insurance at the VIN check) because Stare Farm isn’t capable of showing them that we had insurance. This agency keeps blaming “the system” as an excuse. I never had so many issues with State Farm before and I think it’s an agent issue.

My car got totaled by a teen in Rio Rancho and now the agency listed my replacement car as the “total loss” and not the one that was actually totaled. Make it make sense when State Farm is the one with all of the dates of the cars and accidents!

Shame on us for not finding a different agent sooner."

We sincerely apologize for the confusion and frustration you and your husband have experienced over the past two years regarding your driver’s licenses, insurance policies, and the issues with the New Mexico MVD. I am very grateful we were able to talk on the phone and iron out the confusion and I hope that this made you feel better and bring peace of mind.

Please know that anytime State Farm issues an auto policy, an electronic report of insurance is sent to the Motor Vehicle Department on your behalf. If you are ever notified that they didn’t receive one, please feel free to contact me and I’ll be happy to call and request another report be sent.

We understand how important it is for your insurance information to be accurately reflected and communicated, especially when it affects your vehicle registrations and leads to unexpected suspensions. Additionally, we are very sorry to hear about the mix-up concerning your totaled vehicle and the replacement car. This situation is certainly not the level of service we strive to provide. Please know that all your vehicles are properly covered with active policies and always have been. The correct vehicle was listed as totaled but the new vehicle was written over that same policy which created confusion. Once again, my apologies for this.

Please know that we take your feedback seriously and want to make this right.
